Thanksgiving volunteer opportunities that aren't filled already?

Hello, I won't be able to visit family out of state this year for Thanksgiving so I'm looking for volunteer opportunities on Thanksgiving Day, but it seems like there's nothing left to sign up for on New York Cares. I am working the other days of the week/weekend so it would just be for the 28th (people often mention volunteering for other days during the week since so many people try to volunteer on the holiday's exact date, which makes sense but just wanted to throw it out there that I can't this time)

Any ideas before I start cold calling non-profits/churches? I'm most interested in homeless outreach/helping with meals for the day but down to assist anywhere I might be of help (maybe even just doing the dishes or cleanup in a kitchen afterwards?)
