Connection problems NA to EU

I am from europe and currently in the US. I sometimes play on my home server with a few of my friends and it usually also works fine, but in some of the games, I just cannot connect or randomly disconnect and cannot reconnect afterwards.

Does anyone have an idea what might cause this? The internet is working perfectly fine aside from that. In the launcher itself, everything is working perfectly fine, too.
