  • Jede Antwort braucht Ewigkeiten.

Just a short question:

Is it (still) possible to one-shot the Heart of Darkness with Leper + 3 PDs without any DLC in Darkest difficulty so that everyone survives in the end?

All the videos I've seen so far use tools that are only available with the DLC.

Thank you in advance.

Communal Healing

You’re an exceptional conduit for vitality and, as you channel it through you, you can divert some to heal yourself or another creature. When you cast the heal spell to heal a single creature, choose another willing living creature within range of your heal to regain Hit Points equal to the heal spell’s rank.

And

Healer's Blessing

Your words bless a creature with an enhanced connection to vital energy. When the target regains Hit Points from a healing vitality spell, it regains 2 additional Hit Points.

The target regains additional Hit Points from healer's blessing only the first time it regains HP from a given healing spell, so a spell that heals the creat

Is there a specific reason why Layne Norton decided to include two power days in the PHAT program, and why they follow one another?

From my experience, it is usually better to have an easier or rest day between very heavy days. So why doesn’t he move them around? He could, for example, have a power upper-body day in the upper/lower split section and a power leg day during the PPL section. Or is this irrelevant in the end? Or is it actually better to do the two power days back to back for some reason?

Furthermore, has anyone tested a variation where you do three power days? For example, a power leg day during upper/lower, and then one power day each for push and pull.

In my opinion, this c

During a heavy leg day, I usually do Squats, RDLs, Hip Thrusts, Leg Extensions, Leg Curls, and Calf Raises. That's already quite a lot, and I know that.

But after I am done training, I really would like to do some more accessory work that often gets overlooked, like Abductor and Adductor training. Would it hurt my recovery to do 2-3 sets of each machine afterward? Same for Tibialis Raises? Obviously, I wouldn't aim for a high RPE here.

Thanks in advance.

Buckler Dance:

Requirements: You are wielding a buckler.
You spin your buckler defensively toward every attack. You constantly have your buckler raised as if you'd used Raise a Shield, as long as you meet that action's requirements.

Dirty Trick or Trip:

Requirements: You have a hand free.

If I use Buckler Dance, can I still use feats and actions that require a free hand? In particular, Dirty Trick, Trip, Disarm, and Guardians Deflect? Obviously, I would hold a regular weapon in the other hand.

Vivacious Bravado states:

Requirements: You gained panache this turn.

Let's assume I still have panache from my last turn. If I now use an action with the Bravado trait, does it count as gaining panache again? Even though I already had it before? So that I can use Vivacious Bravado?

In book 1, there is the following section.

The innkeeper held up a hand, quieting him. “Before we discuss the possibility that you’ve addled your wits with that crack to the head, tell me, how is the road to Tinuë?”

“What?” Chronicler asked, irritated. “I wasn’t heading to Tinuë. I was…oh. Well even aside from last night, the road’s been pretty rough. I was robbed off by Abbot’s Ford, and I’ve been on foot ever since. But it was all worth it since you’re actually here.”

And later on, we also get this here:

People are always asking me about the road to Tinuë. Endlessly they say, ‘how is the road to Tinuë?’ What does it mean?”

I smiled. “It’s an idiomatic piece of the language. That m

My mother got her thyroid removed 15 days ago. Since then, her PTH levels have been too low to measure, or, in other words, her parathyroids have stopped producing PTH. The last tests were done today.

Was anyone in a similar situation? Is there any hope left, or should we stop hoping?

During her thyroidectomy, one parathyroid gland was removed by accident, while three remain in her body.

Still, they don't seem to work anymore, and we honestly don't dare to hope that they will start working again.

So, if you were in a similar situation, I would love to hear how it worked out for you. Can you live a normal life without any PTH production? Do you know of any medical breakthroughs that cou

When I raise my buckler, does it still count as having a free hand for feats that require having a free hand? Like Guardian's Deflection and Snagging Strike?

Thanks in advance.

Rothfuss mentioned that he has trouble finishing book 3 because there is so much to cover. And as we can see, as long as this problem remains, he will never finish book 3.

In addition, according to all the theories that can be found on the subreddit, there are so many details that might sometimes be intentional, but sometimes also unintentional, that he couldn't have taken into account, but that he would like to include in his story now.

This comes on top of the stuff we haven't even taken into account yet because we haven't found its relevance.

And finally, Rothfuss also probably doesn't like some of the sections in his books, especially WMF, anymore. I could imagine he wished he had w

Short question about Assume Earth's Mantle and apex items.

Assume Earth's Mantle states:

If your Strength is below +4, this armor raises your Strength to +4. If your Strength is +4 or higher, this armor grants you a +1 item bonus to your Strength.

So the +1 bonus is an item bonus.

In the description for Bracers of Strength, it says:

When you invest the bracers, you either increase your Strength modifier by 1 or increase it to +4, whichever would give you a higher value.

This +1 is untyped.

So, I should be able to combine the stance and the apex item to get a +2 bonus, right? Or is there any rule that says that I cannot combine them? Or is the bonus from the apex item actually an i
