How to overcome doubts/fears related to larger political realities

Hi there! I’m new to this reddit community and relatively new to the law of assumption, but not so new to manifesting. I successfully manifested attending graduate school abroad after years of being told that it was impossible for me, I’ve manifested money and other jobs and opportunities and have found lots of success with journaling and working hard on my goals and changing my narrative.

I don’t want to get into how i got to where I am now because i am trying to detach from my old story of being a victim but lets just say that my life came to a screeching halt after grad school, the job search was a nightmare, i had years of unprocessed trauma to deal with and my dad just died. My dad was a major proponent for me pursuing my dreams and so i have been reinvigorated in a way by his death to attain my dreams.

But today’s political realities, both in the US, where i’m from l, and the country where i got my masters and have an apartment and intend to return to, have made it increasingly difficult to imagine my chances of returning. But i have held onto hope because i was able to find an apartment at all in that country, which was a major feat in itself. I have maintained that I wouldn’t have found the apartment if I weren’t intended to return.

And i know that I’ve got to release focus on the 3D but it feels difficult to keep it up with the news cycle constantly encroaching on my window of opportunity. I know that’s only my perception, but i also study political science and that’s what i earned my masters in but i suppose I am curious what exactly i can feed my fears to shut them up?

For example, one doubt i had was “well the new government in that country is making it harder for internationals to work there” and i tell myself “but that doesn’t mean i can’t work there” but the fear continues to reappear in moments of doubt. another one was “well, because Trump was elected, im competing with many more americans for a spot over there because so many people are emigrating from the US now” and to counter that, i tell myself: “yes but not everyone earned their masters degree already in that country so you’ve already got a leg up” but i also hate playing the compare game and i guess i was just interested in any one else’s input on how they deal with contexts like this and how they fortify their mindset from being swayed by larger realities like these?
