Need a rec letter? Want to make new friends? Sign up for a Freshman Seminar!

This is your reminder to sign up for Freshman Seminars this quarter: These are tiny 15 person classes on fun topics worth only 1 credit- great way to get to know other people, learn something new, get a faculty member to know you for a letter of rec down the line, and generally, are a fun easy A experience with lots of discussion (and they are open to any major so you can take something totally different for a change). Even tho they are called freshman sems, the restrictions drop before the quarter starts. It looks like there are still spots in a bunch of them like crafting software, the art of collaboration, human vision, one on the gut microbiome, one on data analysis for non quant people, and more.
