Holidays

Currently on holidays travelling and I am just wanting to share how beautiful a OAD family is for vacationing.

• on a plane with 3 seats across - so easy!
• going through security, crowds, just general hustle of walking, traffic crossings - won't lose a child, you have control and sense of safety with one child.
• a lot of hotels allow for one child to stay with a parent free of charge or a minimal charge, can book for two queens - let's be honest accommodation is expensive so this is so good.
• campervan holidays equally so easy with one child, less cramped, same goes for tenting holidays, glamping, airbnb- if bed sharing is your thing
• Packing! We minimalise a lot of our clothes when we travel but with an only child it means, less laundry when coming back, less to carry, less to bring and lug.
• Admissions to sight seeing places. Most do 2A 2 C but this is the downside, as it is often the same cost as 2A 1 C. But not always.
• If using a taxi somewhere we all know how tight that middle seat is, 3 people in a car is so much easier
• Snacks and food and cleaning water bottles - enough said less is best haha!

So to slow mornings and peaceful outings just wanted to give some people some insight!
