I thought it was interesting, because there are lots and lots of ways for an enterprising group of people to do the same thing, but much cheaper. Have less opulence, less luxury restaurants, less staff to wade on people, and make things simple and practical and self-serv. The people living on the ship could optionally perform (and be trained to do) many of the roles that employees do, offsetting much of the cost. The ship venu, instead of being tourist orientated could be business oriented, stopping at places with a focus on trade and commerce. The ship could hold a lot more people, to diffuse the costs.
