Easter week?

I posted also in Crete forum, but this seems a bit more active so reposting here. I'll be in Crete for the 5 days leading up to Easter (April 20). Should I expect restaurants to be crowded? Needing reservations?

More generally, will there be a lot going on in Rethymnon during that time? Any suggestions / info most appreciated!
