I want an iPad.

Hello all, I am a first year animation student and a decent amount of my colleagues and others students on campus use an iPad. I have been against Apple's money-hungry products my whole life, but in this art climate, I can't argue that the iPad with Procreate is just king. I just want a reliable model that will last me an OK time. (I saw this is an issue for some of the older models, they run out of update time)

I want to use it mainly for Procreate because there is just something about the art style that is just really cute and soft. And even if I am a boy, I am really jealous when I see those ✨iPad experience✨ videos on YouTube. They look so cute and comfortable. I just want to see what it's like. Call me basic, I am.

When I googled "best iPads for art students reddit", 2 posts from this subreddit popped up.

And they recommend the Air 4 or 5 iPads, but they are from 2 years ago so I just want to make sure and ask in the present.
