Hi Whanbamthkumaam, thank you for your efforts. In short, I think it looks too old and the colors look unexciting--not any fault of your own.
I was thinking subtle 1970s retro not 1930s Hollywood. It's a new media website so it should look more modern than not.
If you had a blank canvas then what would you come up with (with and without tagline)?

I agree it does look "old" but was trying to keep it within the parameters listed and make it look like the one above. With no rules, this is what you get.

Is your username a Bowie reference? Sorry so random but I noticed it.

No it was the first thing I thought of for some reason but I do love Bowie and this is what I'll be telling people from now on ;-)

Looks better! The font color looks off but I like the font. The globe in the middle looks cool but it conveys "Greenpeace."
Could you please make the font color darker and non-green?
