I don't understand the hate the remaster is getting in some circles.
As many of you, I'm beyond excited for this remaster, it's basically perfect, I have to admit I might have actually started tearing up watching the reveal panel, especially when the soundtrack hit.
However, with the internet being the internet, with a lot of contrarians and ragebaiters everywhere, apparently this game is "UE5 slop" "120 gigabytes of an unoptimized mess (the game wasn't even out when these comments were coming out)" etc. Can't you just enjoy the game for what it is? But I get it, hating on stuff gives a dopamine spike, and some people like that. Doesn't make it any less cringe and insufferable though.
I guess this is a wider problem, no matter what comes out you'll have some people hating on it just for the sake of hating on it. It's a really toxic mindset. Can't we all just be happy, with the world being such a mess, that we got an amazing remake, at a fair price, that's basically a time capsule? Some people need to learn to enjoy life and not be so petty and hateful. I hope this isn't me ranting, but if it is, oh well, forgive and forget.
We're so back.
