Preliminary Reactive HIV Ab/P24 Ag screen

Hello, I’m a 25f and this past monday got results back from my anual ob appointment showing i’m preliminary reactive for HIV Ab/P24 Ag but non reactive to HIV 1 RNA & HIV 2 RNA. My doctor called me and explained to me that i don’t have anything to worry about if i have not been exposed but now im freaking out. I have been with my boyfriend for 5 years and only had sex w him throughout these 5 years. I went to urgent care to get another test today. I just don’t understand how could this happen to me especially with only one sex partner for the past half decade. My boyfriend also got tested on 03/31/2025 but stated all his tests were negative. Could this just be a false positive? I’m worried, this never happened in a screening before.
