Ranking the Survivor 50 cast by most anticipated to watch

1. Mike White

  • Love this casting, peak level of surprise and intrigue. Makes the season feel like a bigger crossover event and excited to see some of these players cameo in a future White Lotus season.

2. Coach

  • I'm so pumped we get to see more Coach in a prestigious season. One of the most entertaining players ever. Polarizing. Hilarious. Coach.

3. Genevieve

  • Brilliant choice. She is her own archetype. We still don't know how she will fit in with a cast like this, which is so exciting. She has a lot of story yet to be told.

4. Kyle

  • A surprise, at first I was very thrown for a loop. The more I think about it, the more I love it. This feels like the type of cast Kyle belongs with and can thrive in socially. I think Dee is more likely to have the 'winner's target' on her head and Kyle will adapt to portray whatever version of himself he needs to make a run.

5. Q

  • Very unique character who was a lock all along. He is going to bring the little bit of chaos that this season needs. He will be the bull in a china shop and it'll be very entertaining to watch how his actions impact other players and the game.

6. Joe

  • I'm excited to see him go into this game without being strapped by his connection to Eva and with a chip on his shoulder from losing to Kyle. He had the opportunity to see why his game didn't win and as a competitor I think he'll know how he needs to evolve. On paper I think he projects to fare best of anyone to get to the endgame - He's an old school style player who knows the new era speed. Plus, losing at FTC will reduce his threat level and allow his social game to thrive again.

7. Christian

  • One of those no brainers. We knew it was coming, still happy we get to see him. Very unique character who brings something original to the table.

8. Cirie

  • Cirie brings that matriarch energy to this season, which it needs. Not super thrilled about a 5-time returnee but she fits in with this cast well.

9. Dee

  • I'm actually really excited to see how Dee plays out. She will have a huge target on her shoulders as one of the only two winners, but she'll know that coming in and the intrigue is how she plays accordingly.

10. Angelina

  • We knew this was coming, really excited we get to see her play with Mike White. I probably have her lower on my list than most would, but she takes a hit because she has some of the least win equity of this cast on paper. She's fun, but I still don't think she gets taken seriously as a potential winner.

11. Colby

  • At first you think meh but after settling in I'm very down for this. He is in some ways someone who has grown up with the show, and it'll hit that nostalgic nerve to see him again in a different phase of his life. I think he could fit in well with this cast.

12. Jonathan

  • His perception varies among super fans, but I think it'll serve him well for us to have low expectations coming in. He is ELITE television to watch in challenges. Casual fans will love watching him. This season did need a sprinkle of challenge beast energy.

13. Charlie

  • This was a surprise, but I'm not mad at it. He brings that 'robbed god' arc because of how 46 ended, and it still feels like he is most capable of playing a winning game compared to the other new era FTC losers if they were to return. He is definitely cast in the role of the young strategic super fan - not my favorite archetype, but I'm glad it's him who plays it in this season.

14. Kamilla

  • I'll be honest, do not love this but I'm happy for her. I think casting Kyle and Kamilla together brings a fun storyline going in, but hurts them both when the game starts. There will be a spotlight from day one on separating them as a pair, and I think she is much more likely for a pre-merge boot than Kyle, who will be needed by his tribe in challenges and offer himself as a meat shield to get to the merge.

15. Ozzy

  • Whatever, I'll take it. It's pretty played out, but like Cirie he's a legend and he is one of the most known names to casuals.

16. Devens

  • We just know Probst has waited for this day for a long time.

17. Chrissy

  • Unexpected, but decent choice. I think her character in 35 was unique, but now she will have lots of competition in the strategic mom archetype.

18. Emily

  • I felt like she had one of the best one season story arcs and didn't need to see her return. I could see her being the first boot or going all the way to the endgame, so I'm slightly intrigued to see how it plays out.

19. Jenna

  • I like the season 1 representation, but was she the best choice for it?

20. Stephenie

  • Of all the old era players, this one really feels like overkill. I get there's a nostalgic element, but we just saw her on the traitors. This could have went to someone new we haven't seen return, instead Stephenie will have one of the biggest targets on day one.

21. Aubry

  • Who needed more Aubry???

22. Tiffany

  • This really makes no sense, maybe Jeff is trying to play on the Q storyline? There were SO MANY other players who could have been cast, nobody was clamoring for Tiff. Her resume also makes her the least accomplished player of the entire cast.
