[Product Question] New Lumalux Pro + from Project E Beauty

Hi, don’t know if anyone has purchased and has been using the new Project E Beauty Lumalux Pro + (Face and Neck attachment)? I got my mask on May 7th, but in less than a week the remote that act as charger has degraded significantly and now doesn’t even hold charge for one treatment session. I have seen a few comments over the internet from people complaining of the same issue, and I am concerned. I got in touch with Project E Beauty team and reported the issues, and asked if they could do an internal review in case they had a batch of remote chargers that were faulty. After a few back and forth email someone said they were going to send me a substitute remote, so I am currently waiting on that (they told me last week they were sending one but so far no tracking seen), but I am concerned my question about an internal review was not acknowledged. Especially as a few others seem to have reported issues with the remote charger. What if the same issue occur with the new remote, and the battery degrades after less than a week? Am I better off asking for a full return and refund (as I am within the 60 days of guaranteed refund and return), and purchase one elsewhere? 6 years ago I bought the first mask they ever released, the Skin Rejuvenation Photon Mask, and had no issues. I decided to get the newer model as the old model is a bit uncomfortable to wear, is rigid and clunky, has to be mains powered, and had no Infrared light LEDs. The new model had everything I wanted, so I thought, “perfect!”. I am now feeling sad that my concern was not acknowledged as I feel I supported the company from the start, so a part of me want to believe in them and give them a chance, but at the same time I don’t want to be shafted and worry that after the 60 days grace period, even if there is a 1 year full warranty, I might get stuck in a cycle of endless remote returns? Even if you don’t have this specific brand or model, I would value your advice as it is an expensive piece of kit and I worry I might end up in a sticky situation! Just want some good LED mask for face and neck that has infrared, red, blue, green and yellow… thank you in advance for any help! Xx
