Duolingo Speaking

Hello I am a learner of Spanish and I haven’t used Duolingo yet but have heard that Duolingo has poor reinforcement of speaking skills and doesn’t enable learners to retain and learn tenses after lessons. How do users work around the issue of speaking reinforcement and how do they learn tenses?
