Enough is enough, Stephen

The most miserable part of this season’s offensive struggles has been the 2-hole. Vogt treats it like it’s a joke. Here’s the breakdown: —- Since May 1st, Vogt has penciled a staggering NINE different hitters into the 2-hole. These players are: Arias, Jones, Schneeman, Martinez, Thomas, Naylor, Fry, Manzardo, and Jose. — In Jose’s two games, he went 3/9. How about the rest of them? Since May 1st, all other players Vogt has started in the 2-hole have gone a dreadful 13/138 for an average of .094. —- To conclude, this is simply unacceptable. With this roster, the answer is and always has been to put Jose in that spot. We simply don’t have the talent to keep putting such an easy out in front of Jose. Kwan-Jose-Santana. It’s really not that hard.
