what choice makes the most sense for my character (phantom liberty)

okay spoilers for those who haven’t played the game (which i assume like all of you have but i’m not trying to get skinned alive)

i’m at the point where i have the choice of giving up songbird to reed and the FIA. i sided with songbird during the hansen mission, but after i learned that she fucked me over to save herself, i’m in a bit of a pickle

for context, the reason i chose to side with songbird is because my V is a merc vigilante assassin. he dishes out justice as he sees fit, and generally does the right thing. i even have a load out for him that is a non lethal loadout, so that he doesn’t kill lower class people like guards and stuff like that. his main goal is to help the disenfranchised and the oppressed. he hates corps, cops, and anything authoritarian. he only deals with that shit when he is forced to, so my V literally hates the government and the president. my V is a lot like johnny but if his desire for revolution came from a place of genuine desire to help people than being a narcissistic asshole.

so my question is what should i do? i don’t want to help the fia anymore than i should because my v’s views on the government and authority, but songbird really fucked me over. at the end of the day, my V is also trying to survive and was pretty pissed to learn that songbird truly lied about everything. she did everything to save herself, which conflicts with my V’s altruism and desire to do good. harming innocent people out of selfishness

so what makes sense for my V’s character? should i kill reed or handover songbird?
