Would you take a lower paying job?

Hi all, got laid off this week ago. Getting a little severance and my final check which was one weeks worth.

I live in a HCOL and have been actively paying down debt because we all know layoffs were coming. So I have no savings. Ill probably also get the max with unemployment benefits.

Everything im getting could last maybe 5 to 7 months on average. So finding another job they pays almost as much is important.

Right now it doesnt seem like jobs are paying as well right now from what ive seem so ive even applied to lower paying ones.

One job called me the next day and love my resume and want to interview me next week. Problem is it pays wayyyyy less than what I make now. So thag scares me.

The bright side is if I get hired quickly ill have income that pays more than what unemployment makes but once severance runs out it will barely pay half of my debt and bills and taking time to interview while working a job is difficult.
