These new pricing plans and customer owned modems

I am currently a gigabit customer of xfinity with my own modem (mb8611) paying $95 a month.

Do I qualify for their $70 a month offer? Does that constitute a contract to stay with them for a year?

I don’t want their equipment as I use mesh WiFi for my house and their WiFi signal s just going to interfere with my equipment.
