When MRI/MRV shows no abnormalities
Dear Community, Im in the process of being diagnosed. My neurologist already appointed a lumbar puncture in September. The doc did this because of my symptoms. Dr suspects iih:
- having immense intracranial pressure with an intense sensation of pressure on the skull and eyes like airbags
- Persistent visual impairment in the left eye
- With increasing pressure: fluctuating and worsening visual impairment on both sides
- Severe headaches
- Increased pressure with physical exertion, sneezing, bending over, or straining
- Ear noises / tinnitus (rushing sound)
- Large black areas appearing in the visual field for a few seconds
- Forgetfulness
- When pressure is strongly elevated: heaviness in the legs like lead / motor disturbances in the leg
HAD 2 MRI and they keep coming back clear and this bugs me so much……. Regardless doctor says we can measure pressure only by LP. My eye doc said my left eye optic is is slightly but sooooooooooooo minimally thick that its not an illness and all clear and good to go.
