Outwardly angled bolt release lever? Clearance issue on American Spirit side charging upper

Mil spec won’t fit, top paddle had an interference with the upper, so I’m running with the top paddle broken off - basically a bolt hold open button.

Any recommendations on outwardly angled bolt catches?
