Evening all!

I just inherited some audio gear I’ve been trying to get working and wanted to consult those with more knowledge on the topic to see if you might give me a good place to start.

Gear:

• Jolida CD player (JD603)

• Jolida tube amp (JD302b)

• WalkAllen Taos speakers (serial number 7 & 8, which I think is cool)

Problem:

When running that chain, it seems that I’ve only got signal coming out of the tweeters, and the main drivers aren’t producing any sound. First thought is that they’ve got blown capacitors in the speakers, but I got to wondering if bad vacuum tubes could lead to a lost low end signal as well.

I also got some Macin

Mil spec won’t fit, top paddle had an interference with the upper, so I’m running with the top paddle broken off - basically a bolt hold open button.

Any recommendations on outwardly angled bolt catches?

Don't have a bench/vise/block and have 6.5g barrel I want to swap out for 5.56. Hoping to keep it cheaper, understanding I'll have to pay an armorer's minimum time.

Also if anyone wants a 6.5 grendel 18" spr barrel/bolt for a build/conversion, I'd be happy to trade for any 5.56 barrel/bolt.

Complete upper with bolt carrier group. Build and shot this when I used to live in the desert and had space to shoot it, but now I live somewhere with no ranges greater than 50 yards. Probably has less than 100 rounds, definitely has less than 150 rounds.

Tried to take photos of the damage to the knife, some dings and minor chips in the blade.

Knife is a little sticky on the actuation, I would clean it but don’t have the right tool to open it up and I never cared all that much for it if I’m being honest.

Edge Condition: I used it to open Amazon boxes, but it could use a sharpen. Tried to capture imperfections as best I could in photos.

Ownership: Unknown (At least Second)

Centering/Lockup: not sure? It doesn’t lock open or closed, needs cleaning/service.

Body Condition: dings and scratches (pictured)

Hey there! Been messing with my new-to-me Norinco 320, and I’ve been trying like hell to get a folding stock mounted to it (had a god-awful thumb hole stock).

I ordered a folding stock and bolt off Apex, but seems like thread pitches are different between the bolt and nut that I have. I can only get partial engagement (320 but, Apex bolt) of the threads.

In addition to that, the stock doesn’t seem to lock in the extended position. Is it possible I just have a garbage stock? It was a ‘new’ stock.

I figure you guys are the best crowd to ask, as it likely does infringe on NFA-land.

I recently picked up a Norinco 320, and wanted to look at eventually SBR-ing it. For now, though, I was trying to find any information on if I need to SBR it before removing the welds on the barrel nut.

Gut reaction is "no," as I can freely swap barrels on just about any rifle I have (ARs can swap uppers, CZ455 barrels...). The paranoid part of my brain says that there's a reason it came welded, and there's some law (that possibly no longer exists) that says it has to be permanently attached to constitute a 16" rifle.

So, r/NFA, do you think I can remove the welds without breaking any laws?

Something like a war horse concepts, m81 camo, vaporwave style, or something interesting. It’d be going on this wack-ass M1A socom 16 build thing I have going on. Looking for something less than $30 shipped. Padded/unpadded, material doesn’t matter. Just something cool.
