This is my first MCR concert and I'm terrified

Hello everyone,

The title is the post, basically. I'm nearing my mid 30's and feeling queasy just thinking about the concert on Sunday.

For further context, my cousin let me borrow her copy of Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge when I was around 12 years old and the rest is history. This would be my first album without parental influence, and it would open the door to other bands and music that I would stumble upon and love.

Throughout the years, I went through TW: a>! very depressive episode, suicidal ideations, self-harm !< , all stemming from my home life. MCR was one of the things that kept me going, I can safely say MCR kept me alive, along with other bands and their music.

I wanted to be a scene kid, but was coming from a home that thought all music like MCR was devil worship, and a visit to Hot Topic was a no-go. I BEGGED for my first Tripp NYC skirt. I was socially awkward and didn't know it at the time, but I have ADHD and communicate not so great in person, so finding others that liked what I liked was very difficult. I missed out on so much; Warped Tour, Ozzfest, any and every band touring in the 2000's was a no go for me, because of financials, because my parents disapproved of it. Because my friends were few and we didn't like the same music so I had no one to go with and that was a definite no if I wanted to go.

I missed The Black Parade Tour. I saw the headlines in what little content of news I received at the time because we were pretty much broke without most of the conveniences of technology today, but I knew, I knew I was missing out on a day seeing the guys up on stage. I missed them again when I was an adult and finances were better in 2022, through horrible work anxiety at that time.

This is my one shot, my one chance to see them, and I am so, so, very terrified that something is going to go wrong. I already am feeling like my wardrobe is lacking, I "grew up" my wardrobe because the negative voices that stopped me from fully expressing myself are still there, still clawing at me. So, I'll be the normie at the show.

I feel I should be more grateful, I have tickets, I have a family to bring this time, my daughter is such a fan now too. But this is like a pressure in my chest, knowing that I am seeing the band that made this a reality.

TLDR: First MCR concert aaaaa what do
