Hello everyone! Is anyone going to be heading to the concert in Ishigaki this month?
I would like to hang out with some like minded fans, if possible! That or meeting up at the event would be fun.
Hey everyone. I guess I find myself here eventually. Writing has always been a salve for me, and I am more weary than most to post anything online, but I am feeling of sorts today.
I have not spoken to my mother in almost a full year. October 17 marks the day that I was admitted to the hospital for a bilateral pulmonary embolism. Our household communication was always a mess. We never state when we have an issue outright.
That day, I posted on social media about it, and usually my siblings let our mom know of the information they catch wind of between us. I have never had a good relationship with my mother. I don't trust her with my issues. I don't feel a palpable love from her. She never
Learning pit tickets were around $300 at the start makes me feel like an absolute clown for the StubHub tickets I got. Literally double price, but I'm going with the family and it's gonna be pit in San Diego. (BABYMETAL!!)
Damn does it hurt like a m'fer. Seriously though, costume ideas?
Roast me or comfort me pls k thx
Would anyone happen to know if East Orchestra seats would have a good view? Or if Orchestra West or Terrace would be a better option?
My ticket is for the area in the middle of Orchestra East, close to the stairs nearest the stage, and I'm worried I won't be able to see the stage as clearly as someone on the first row in Terrace would, obvs, but I don't think Terrace seats would allow you to be able to see Aoba-san as closely, no? Also sound quality concerns for either Orchestra sides.
I received an offer for a first row terrace seat at an upcharge and I'm not sure if I should go for it instead or be content with my current ticket. :( Any advice or knowledge of the seating would be high
I went. I posted recently about how nervous I was beforehand, and I read all of your lovely comments. To those that offered to meet during the event, I appreciated your support so much. I am sorry for the silence, my scatterbrained self was all over the place getting ready for the weekend! This community is so sweet, I met so many nice people at the concert.
Like I mentioned previously, this was my first chance to go see My Chemical Romance after listening to them since I was 12. I was in the pit area, and was at the barricade to the right of the stage with my family. It was such an emotional day, I started crying while driving into the parking area. We were able to find a merch line close
Hello everyone,
The title is the post, basically. I'm nearing my mid 30's and feeling queasy just thinking about the concert on Sunday.
For further context, my cousin let me borrow her copy of Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge when I was around 12 years old and the rest is history. This would be my first album without parental influence, and it would open the door to other bands and music that I would stumble upon and love.
Throughout the years, I went through TW: a>! very depressive episode, suicidal ideations, self-harm !< , all stemming from my home life. MCR was one of the things that kept me going, I can safely say MCR kept me alive, along with other bands and their music.
I wante
That's it, that's the whole post folks.
I remembered to take my meds in the afternoon, after consistently taking them in the morning and forgetting the afternoon one. I took it late enough that I started playing a rhythm game after work and realized how everything seems to have slowed down and actually make sense. To make matters worse, my brain seems to have gotten to speed and "sees" everything now, but now my aim is off.
It's so stupid that I'm so crushed about it. It's so stupid that it hurts this bad. I always knew I was mediocre, but I really love these kinds of games, and now I know it's my brain's fault that I'm no good at them.
Then I think about all the other things I am bad
Hello everyone,
I am working through things in therapy, and one of the feelings that keeps coming up is how I have not had the chance to state to my abuser how I felt or dealt with all of the things that they put me through.
I basically went no contact save for some really crucial moments where I could not go "out of script" due to legal actions or possible legal actions at those times. All communications were via social media and after them it would be no contact again. I am since in a place where I don't fear legal actions and am in a safe and stable place.
I have not seen them in person since around 2011-2012.
I think I finally want to state my piece, and if they respond or not the
Hello everyone,
Just like stated in the title, is this something that you or someone you know has gone through after particularly difficult therapy sessions where your trauma has come up? How do you handle it? What do you do to lessen the possibility of having nightmares?
Hello everyone,
As stated, I am currently unmedicated since Thursday last week because my heart rate was spiking to upwards of 140 BPM without strenuous exercise while I was on Focalin XR 10 mg. This was after calling my primary care doctor just to let them know if this was normal, to which they told me to discontinue my medication.
It's the work week and I am back to being on my phone, going out of task, and not doing a deadlined project.
Also, this weekend was horrible. I was so irritable, and came to the realization that I was always like that without medication. Irritable because I was not doing anything productive, even on the weekend, towards keeping the home tidy or going to pla
Hello everyone,
It's 3 months into figuring myself out now, and I wanted to know if anyone has this similar circumstance.
I am currently undergoing medication and therapy for possible ADHD/CPTSD, and there is a toss up with what I should currently be working on. I feel like a lot of what would be usual ADHD has been intensified by my CPTSD, especially with social anxiety and day to day interactions with other people.
Does anyone have any resources about this kind of circumstance? Words of advice or encouragement?
I feel pretty lost still and I know it's very recent, but I can't help but feel like I should have all of this figured out already.
I started a journey on figuring out what is wrong with me since June of this year, and since then I have had 3 people tell me my anxiety is a trauma response, along with my constant tardiness, lack of focus and organization. I'm on the threshold for the Wender Utah at 46, and another test had me on the threshold at 14, don't remember the name, but the immediate idea was to push the fact it was my trauma and the ACE test score at an 8 is a supporting factor.
So it's me. I'm the problem. I brought it up at my physiatrist appointment and was told the medication I am receiving is a band aid. As soon as I work out my trauma, I'll be healed guys. I want to explode. Why am I picking up this new
