Is it possible to have a recovered memory of childhood physical abuse?

I have been formally diagnosed with complex PTSD and DID. Some time ago I had a recovered memory of my father briefly choking me in his car. I had flashbacks and it was a horrible experience remembering. Although I've had recovered memories of CSA I'm just wondering if you can have them from childhood physical abuse? Everywhere I look it seems to be all about CSA.
