SKX403 7S26 to NH36 "mod" help
I recently picked up the very rare, and very cool (IMO), SKX403. The 7S26 movement is not running well, so that gives me the perfect excuse to swap in an NH36 movement. However, I'm struggling to find an NH36 crown that will fit the case and crown tube. Because of the crown guards, I need a relatively small 5.8mm diameter crown. Of course there are hundreds of SKX007 NH36 crowns out there, but they are all too big. I already ordered a "generic" 5.8mm Seiko crown from AliExpress, but it didn't fit the crown tube.
Is there a source besides Ebay that might have a crown I need? Can I somehow transfer the current crown onto an NH36 stem? I'm looking for any help or suggestions I can get. Thanks!
