(51M) I got divorced about 2 years ago and decided to embrace my hobbies, with a secondary hope of meeting someone. While I am thoroughly enjoying my time, my hobbies attract pretty much all dudes. And the only time there are women around, they are with their significant others.

So, here are my 3 main hobbies, with decent choices for in person meetups: watches/watchmaking, cars, and chess. Ladies, if you show up to any of these events, all you need to do is find a guy without a ring and say, “tell me about your XX”, and you will almost certainly get enough interaction to quickly judge if you would want to date them. In my mind, it would be so easy for you.

Now, what is the equivalent

There was a post here two days ago (the comments are now locked) that talked about how the dating pool is smaller because of political beliefs. There were so many posts saying, “no MAGA”. So, what does that actually mean? Are you talking about the 25% that are Trump supporters that think he can do no wrong? Are you talking about the 50% of people who voted for him? Or are you talking about the 75% that don’t adhere to the liberal agenda?

For me (47m), I consider MAGA the 25% strong Trump supporters. And for me personally, I don’t want to date anyone on either extreme side of the political spectrum, since those people are usually unreasonable and unpleasant. So yeah, I guess the datin

I recently picked up the very rare, and very cool (IMO), SKX403. The 7S26 movement is not running well, so that gives me the perfect excuse to swap in an NH36 movement. However, I'm struggling to find an NH36 crown that will fit the case and crown tube. Because of the crown guards, I need a relatively small 5.8mm diameter crown. Of course there are hundreds of SKX007 NH36 crowns out there, but they are all too big. I already ordered a "generic" 5.8mm Seiko crown from AliExpress, but it didn't fit the crown tube.

Is there a source besides Ebay that might have a crown I need? Can I somehow transfer the current crown onto an NH36 stem? I'm looking for any help or suggestions I can ge

Based on talking to divorced friends and people in a divorce care group I'm in, it seems like there are two mindsets when it comes to relationships after divorce. The first is the "I need to find a much better wife than the last one", and the second is the "No effin' way I'm going to get married again". I've only been divorced for about a month, but I am firmly in the second camp and have no immediate desire for another relationship, let alone marriage. Is that where most men start, then eventually come around to the possibility of marriage again? Or do most men more or less stay in their core mindset after divorce?

Here is my situation for context. I'm 49 and was married for 20 years.
