Question about professional spray tan staining my clothing 2 days later
Hi everyone,
I get married at the end of the month so I did a trial traditional spray tan on a Thursday and I rinsed off after 4-5 hours as explained by the lady that applied it. Friday I did a normal shower, tried not to exfoliate too much because I wanted my tan for Saturday as I was having my bridal shower.
Saturday I took a regular shower put on my white bridal shower dress and noticed by the end my spray tan stained my dress in the under arms area.
So I reached out to the company that did my spray tan, it was one of those manual ones where someone sprays you. I mentioned what happened and she said this:
Ok It looks like you did a traditional bronzer based solution. I would reccomend a low or no bronzer for brides ( we have a special product ) which reduces risk of transfer. If you have another occasion or want to try this product before the wedding this would be ideal!
So now my question is, is this what she said above accurate? Also, I shaved my legs Friday and the tan on my legs decreased greatly. Even though I asked them if it was okay to shave. Is that normal? I really want to get a tan done but I don’t want it staining my wedding dress.
