New take on old Zombie classics

Since it’s October eve I have broke the seal on watching some horror. I recently watched World War Z and 28 days later and found that my view on both have changed. I remember not caring for WWZ the first time seeing it and although still find it too polished, big budget movie feeling for my liking, I actually enjoyed it this time around. In contrast 28DL I had always regarded as really good. I still liked it this time around but I thought I remembered it being a lot scarier and faster paced and had felt that I liked it up to the point where they ended up with the army folk at which point I remember feeling that it changed into another movie that I didn’t like as much. This time around I found it slower, not as scary and actually am changing my mind of the army part. Feeling now that it fits well and even enhances the movie. Thoughts?
