Wealth management or private equity

Is it possible to get an entry level job in wealth management or private equity with a finance and economics degree in progress?

My husband never completed his finance degree but he’s coming back to school next semester and wanting to get his foot in WM or Private E.

He lacks the diploma but no the skills and knowledge. He literally just needs an interview to sell himself. Is it possible to get one with no degree?
