Male cat 1.5 years - urinary issue

All the vets in my area are closed until Monday and I will be calling to schedule an appointment ASAP. I tried already and no one is in the office.

My mother noticed my cat has been licking himself more often the last few days. No significant behavior differences noticed until today. Checked litter box and less urine than normal.

Then I noticed a wet spot on the carpet after he was sitting down as if he was gonna pee on the floor.

That’s when I noticed that pee was leaking from his penis area, and it seemed reddish and was pulsing.

Feeling around his tummy area trying to find his bladder, I cannot find it easily, I felt maybe like a partial water balloon type feeling. He was complaining when I was touching there.

The urine has been leaking basically since this morning and dude seems to be somewhat lethargic but overall he seems normal. I’ve been checking him out over like the last 3 hours every like half an hour to see if I can locate the bladder and I still can’t seem to find anything.

Emergency clinic next town over (1.5 hour drive one way) was going to charge me $185 dollars just for the inspection and quite frankly I don’t think I can afford that plus whatever other tests or treatment would be necessary. There is a low cost vet in my town (but no one answered and I was on hold for like 30 min before giving up)

So yeah, any suggestions for how I might be able to support my dude would be so helpful…
