Immich on Proxmox 13 (Trixie) || Permission denied errors

As the title says

I have been having trouble getting Immich installed on my Proxmox server.

All I see is an “permission denied” error when running the “docker compose up -d” without any details of which directory / folder is causing that error.

I have been able to narrow down the error to the Immich-database service in the YAML file. But that’s where the trail ended.

Steps:

• installed Proxmox + apt update + pveupgrade
• curl -faSL https://get.docker.com | sh
• follow instructions at immich.app -> Get Started

Tried going the LXC route — and same errors (for immich-database).

I feel this could be due to Proxmox user not being the same as the “docker” user — but not sure if that is right.

BTW: the folders on the host have permissions 775 to the library and immich-app folder

As a shot in the dark, I tried enabling logging in the Postgres-config file (after the first failed start), but the modified configuration file appeared to not be recognized..

Can anyone pls help? Much appreciated!
