help me narrow down my picks for movie club

hey guys ! i’m in charge of leading a discussion for my movie club’s next meeting, and i’m narrowing it down between these three

First off, my ultimate goal is to pick a spooky movie for october (our next meeting is in october) that people will like and will cause us to have a lot of discussion. some of the people aren’t the most diverse movie watchers/are more average movie enjoyers (which is totally okay!), so i want something that is somewhat accessible but also expands their horizons in a tangible way.

i’m picking between kwaidan, pulse (2001), and the original ring (ringu).

kwaidan is a movie that is just so well-revered and it looks like a beautiful movie that could cause lots of discussion. i think it fits the theme

pulse is also appealing because it’s a spooky movie that has a lot to say about the isolation that technology brings and was prolific in the way that social media can be super isolating and echo chamber-esque

the original ring is just a quintessential horror movie that really helped the j-horror genre take off which could cause some discussion
