Bacon is strictly a breakfast food.

Food (Only on Friday)

I waited all week to make this post.

My lady and I got into it the other day when I turned my nose up at her ordering a Baconator from Wendy's. First, I was perplexed why anyone would get anything other than a "Fo Fo Fo" at Wendy's when it's the same price as Five Guys these days, but mostly, I felt betrayed. I had no idea she was a...bacon burger person. Blegh.

I love bacon, but it just does not work outside of breakfast for me. Bacon is such a strong flavor that it completely overpowers the bolder flavors that come with other meals. Any time there is a bit of bacon inside any dish, it is all I taste. Which is fine...for an omelette..or a frittata. Bacon is God's gift to breakfast. Putting bacon in a burger? Or worse, in a casserole? That should count as sacrelige or something.

This is probably too popular of an opinion for this sub but I did a quick check of "bacon" posts in r/the10thDentist and got "I hate bacon" and "bacon is better raw" (wtf dude).
