Times is Weird

This is sort of a specific gear oriented question I'm fielding to you all to see what discerning ears have to say. But in the song "Times is Weird" from Heaven Is Real, is the bass line preformed using a Roland TB-303, or equivalent? I've never thought much about what synthesizers John uses on each record because its not info that's really out there so no point in hunting it down, but owning a Tb-303 reproduction, I feel like those are exactly the type of filtered pre-squelchy tones you would get from one, but the bass pattern really fluid and slick you wouldn't think it came from a synth as seriously difficult to program as the 303. Perhaps he really put in the time and learned to program it? It just seems odd for such a one-off usage I haven't noticed elsewhere in his music. But what do you think? Is that the synth? Is it programmed or played? Also comment if you just know anything more about John's non self-built synthesizers. 😃
