One of my kitten's eyes is teary

Kitten Help

Hi! So, I adopted a male 8 week old kitten a week ago, and the same evening I noticed his left eye is a little swollen and the right one a little teary. I suspected conjunctivitis right away, so the next day we went to the vet. The vet said it could be feline herpesvirus, but little Jeremy is healthy as a horse, and the vet checked out his eye and said he does have very mild conjunctivitis in his left eye, so she prescribed immunostimulants for 14 days and an eye cream, which I was told to apply twice a day. I have been following the instructions and his left eye is completely fine, but the right one is a little teary every now and again. It's not a constant thing. His left eye is completely fine now, the swelling has gone away, his eyelid is not red anymore on the inside, but the right one gets a little teary from time to time for no apparent reason. I'm not sure what is up with him, we still have a week left on the meds. He doesn't squint, his right eye looks completely normal like his left one now, only it gets watery.
