Foreskin can barely retract

Had my circumcision 18 days ago and had a bunch of complications but now it feels cleaner and the stitches are going away. One thing that I was told was fine but its worrying me is that my remaining foreskin,due to the low and loose UK cut, is very hard to retract and it hides many of the front stitches. I can pull some sections but its tough and not comfortable. Is this normal and will I be able to glide the foreskin back and forth once all stitches are gone?
