Need some advice on how to handle this situation.

I’m 17 and my mother won’t stop mentioning how one of her nephews who is like my third cousin wants to marry me ( he is 30 years old). This has been ongoing since the last time I was in Somalia which was 2019 when I was 11.

Now that I’m “mature” my mum doesn’t see any issue with him wanting to marry me, even if I don’t want to. It makes me bare uncomfortable, she’s always trying to get me to speak to him otp.

Am I supposed to just be okay with this? My mum is rlly close with her family so she speaks to him a lot, sometimes I wish he would leave us alone bc I feel so icky about this.
