Long term customer, good service, but upset with the bait and switch!

Went from 1gb internet service to 500mb to save money. As my bill was increasing. The agent (from the loyalty department) signed me up and promised the price and that in the next few days he would work to make that a 5 year price lock (yes I know I was stupid for believing the agent would do this). I called back to confirm with him, (as he said I could call back and gave his name) but was told he is not available and the most they can do is a one year price lock. So basically gave up twice the speed for a 14 dollar savings, with no long term savings, then to add salt to the wound "new customers" get the same speed I used to have, 1gb for 10 bucks more with a 5 year lock. Sure nice to be a long term customer.
