Serious Version (My Current Thoughts): >!Let me just get this out of the way first: there are really only two things I like about this chapter. The first: all the usage of the squirrel (the one that tends to hang out with Yamame) here proving she's cuter than her boss...presumably being a "she". (and it isn't like they're going to commit to Rentarou and beastiality at this time; even though we're a long way from the "catgirl"). The second...is this being Mai's final cameo before her big arrival in 101 as mentioned above. (and mentioned, I love Mai so just play along with the idea that I'm creeped out by "weird white-haired huge-eyed maid" all this time).!<

!So with that out of the way...did we really need a chapter to just go into Hakari trying to make Yamame lewd and failing...but not? The whole problem is we get the whole idea throughout the series of "all the girls are different but similar and they all have charms none of the others do in their own way. Yamame's a good girl despite her size and "assets", she doesn't need to be seduced by a Hanazono into using them in...the manner of a Hanazono. I get it's to make Yamame feel as awkward leading to the resolution but it all just feels wrong and it feels like Yamame is just being pushed into uncomfortable situations just because of Hakari. And for it to all end with "let's kill Rentarou...no, he has passion for you" ending...yeesh; there are probably a few chapters that have a worse ending than this; and with how Yamame is pushed around, I even think this is worse than "Beef Tongue" (where even there Kurumi was tricked but it felt in good nature since Hahari had the means and Rentarou wasn't ready...let alone Hahari's own dissident nature and how she handled it anyway.) I really wish Yamame got more beyond this chapter but it feels like this chapter is a reason she fell more into the background over time outside being with Iku (and her 1-3 classmate is a joke, let alone Hasuha and how she's been treated despite being around a short time...1-3 just doesn't have popular girlfriends, does it?)!<

Next Time: After-school isn't just for students! (I mean it sounds like a Hahari chapter...could be Naddy but Hahari hasn't had any focus in a while and I just imagine most of her off-time being...typical Hahari affairs, sadly.)
