My armour

Eph 6:10-

Put on the Whole armour of God... What soldier goes to war in partial kit?

It is a sign of our indifference to the spiritual that we put so little preparation into our armour.

For a physical battle, we would prepare, train, and seek help to make sure our kit was in order. But for the daily spiritual war we haphazardly bolster the disciplines we are good at, we avoid sweat, and we indignantly resent anyone inspecting or commenting on the condition of our armour. It's folly, and it is supremely evident that we do NOT take the enemy seriously.

Every sin is preventable. Every wound of the enemy is a reflection of our failures to fight the good fight of faith, for the armour is sufficient!
