Home Lab Server Build! Read cap

Hello! I’m looking to make (or buy) a rack-mounted server to host some modded Minecraft servers and a few other services. I need a lot of compute power and RAM.

My server rack is in the same room I sleep in, so I’d like it to be as quiet as possible. I’m very new to this—right now I’m only running a standard Minecraft server on an old OptiPlex.

Any advice, recommendations, or tips would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!
