Summary of Today's Session (Tuesday, Nov 25, 2025)
NIFTY 50 closed the monthly expiry session on a negative and volatile note, falling for the third consecutive day.
- Closing Value: NIFTY 50 closed at 25,884.80, down by 74.70 points (-0.29%)
- The Expiry Drag: While the index briefly tried to reclaim 26,000 (hitting a high of 26,032), heavy Call Writing pressure at 26,000 and continued foreign outflows dragged it down in the second half
- Sectoral Performance:
- Drags: IT, Auto, and Oil & Gas sectors faced selling pressure. Major heavyweights like Infosys and Tata Motors ended in the red.
- Support: PSU Banks and Metal stocks showed resilience, preventing a steeper fall
- Stock Specific: Adani Enterprises fell ~3%, continuing to weigh on sentiment
- FII Activity: Foreign investors remained net sellers, offloading shares in the cash market, which dampened the "Buy on Dips" enthusiasm
Outlook for Wednesday, November 26, 2025
The outlook for Wednesday is Strongly Bullish / Gap-Up. The "lid" of the monthly expiry has been lifted, and the market is set to react to the massive global rally it ignored yesterday
1. Implied Opening: Significant Gap-Up
- GIFT Nifty Cue: Currently at 9pm, the GIFT Nifty is trading significantly higher, around 26,075+, reflecting the strong global sentiment
- Expected Start: Expect a Gap-Up of 150–180 points, with NIFTY likely opening above the 26,050 mark. (This is only a speculation on starting mood and could change after opening)
- The Primary Driver: US & Global Rally
- Wall Street Surge: US markets posted a massive rally on Monday and remained steady/positive on Tuesday. The Nasdaq surged 2.7% and the S&P 500 rose 1.5%, driven by renewed hopes of a December Fed Rate Cut and a rebound in AI stocks (Nvidia/Alphabet)
- Asian Markets: Major Asian indices like the Hang Seng and Kospi are trading in the green this morning, mirroring the US optimism
- Trading Strategy for Wednesday (New Weekly Cycle)
With the 26,000 monthly expiry walls gone, the "Bulls" are back in control.
|| || |Level|Significance|Outlook| |26,150|Key Resistance|The first target for the gap-up rally. If sustained, short-covering could push Nifty to 26,250.| |26,000|Strong Support|This previous resistance will now act as a solid support floor.|
- Action Plan: Buy on Dips / Hold the Gap.
- If you held Calls: You are likely to see excellent profits at the open. Consider booking partial profits near 26,150.
- Fresh Entry: If NIFTY opens near 26,050 and sustains for 15 minutes, it confirms the breakout. Look for long positions targeting 26,180.
- Caution: Watch for profit-booking in the second half as traders head into the US Thanksgiving holiday (markets closed Thursday)
