minecraft world - day 14 - him

i went to sleep (inside the game) but i left my bed since i heard the sound of footsteps inside my house

the door was still closed

slowly, i moved the mouse, but the camera turned on its own to the other side

he was there

standing 2 blocks away from me

Steve's exact model... but with empty, glowing eyes, like the stare of a corpse frozen mid-thought

he tilted his head, studying me

the screen flickered
my hud vanished
and then, like a glitching puppet, i was yanked backward through the wall

outside, the moon hung motionless in the sky, as if the time stoped
no mobs
no sounds
everything was frozen

except him

he pointed at me, a sharp unnatural motion, and slid into the forest without animation

the chat displayed a single word

FOLLOW

then the screen went black
