the world is nearly silent now

no mobs, no ambient noise, no running water sounds, like the world is hollow

a few minutes ago, my torches flickered again

the chat opened again on its own

a message appeared, the longest yet:

YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN HERE

my room dimmed for a second

in-game, i heard a block being placed behind me

i turned the camera, he stood there

right beside me. still. staring. eyes shining like knives

the screen blinked. the camera shook. and before i was kicked out to the main menu, one final message typed itself slowly:

YOU

BELONG

TO ME

if i enter again, he will be there, waiting, watching

always watching

this is my final log

if any

ever since that night, the world has been decaying

animals vanished, villages disappeared, entire biomes repeatingthemselfs like the world file was corrupting piece by piece

sometimes i respawn in places ive never been

sometimes the game moves me while afk

and always, ALWAYS, when i look back, i see the eyes

he never hits me, never touches me, he just watches

and everytime i try to hide, new structures appear:

• small sand pyramids in non-desert biomes
• diagona 2x2 tunnels leading nowhere
• random doors deep underground
• signs with no text, placed in perfect lines

as if he is mapping me

tacking me

preparing me

seasoning myself with fear

i went to sleep (inside the game) but i left my bed since i heard the sound of footsteps inside my house

the door was still closed

slowly, i moved the mouse, but the camera turned on its own to the other side

and then, like a glitching puppet, i was yanked backward through the wall

he pointed at me, a sharp unnatural motion, and slid into the fo

i was orgazing items in my chest room when the chat opened by itself

i hadnt typed anything

one word appeared

i assumed it was a glitch, maybe my keyboard misfired? but a few seconds later

STOP

then a third

S T O P

my breathing froze

there was no LAN, no connection, no other players

then came the longest message yet

HE IS HERE

something broke a torch behind me

the world around my base kept changing

first, a three block tall 1x1 dirt pillar appeared beside my animal pen
second, a gravel path led from my backdoor to the river, even though i never placed gravel there
third, a wooden cross on the highest hill

none of these had been there before

worse, my camera began turning on its own, as if my mouse was defective (but i brought it last week). its turning always toward the same part of the forest, as though something was calling me

in that forest, between the trunks, two glowing points shimmered faintly

while mining, i broke a stone block that opened a small hol into another chamber. it was a perfect square room, unnaturaly smooth, no ores, no irregularities

in the center, placed like an offering, a single block of wool

i didnt touch it, i didnt have the courage

the torch id just placed flickered, a single frame of darkness, and in my peripheral vision someone moved

i slammed ESC, my hands were shaking

when i returned to the game, i wasnt alone

for less than a second, behind me in the shadows, i saw the unmistakable shape of Steve, but his eyes were blank, glowing white, emotionless. the same eyes i saw at day 1. the same eyes my 10yo me saw in my worst nightmares

by now i had a larger house built. i thought the paranoia was fading, but that morning, while gathering wood, i froze at what i found: a leafless tree, stripped completely bare, not a single leaf block left

it was in an unexplored area, so i havent touched it, and it wasnt biome effect. it was... surgical

beneath the tree, a perfectly carved 2x2 tunnel, descending diagonally into darkness

i didnt dig that tunnel

i heard something, as if my footsteps were echoed strangely, delayed, like someone following me just one step behind

that night, before sleep, i heard a door opening

it all began the moment i created a new world. version 1.7, random seed, default settings, no mods, no resource packs. the name of the world, "solo43"

everything looked normal for the first few minutes, i cut down some trees, built a small shelter, mined some coal, placed a few torches

only when the sun set did something feel off, there was a second shadow on the right of my screen. i thought it was a mob, but the silhouette... it was player-shaped

when i walked toward it, it vanished. it didnt walk away. it didnt run. it simply ceased to exist, as if it had fallen out of rendering range
