Fed up
I just need to vent to people who understand. Even my mom doesn't seem to fully and it's frustrating. On Thanksgiving I had a bad fall at the end of the stairs in my house. I swore I broke my foot/ankle because I rolled it and hit the ground hard. I did however dislocate my pinkie toe and had to get X-rays the next day. I might have to get more when the swelling calms. I now have a very bruised foot and I'm in a walking boot for a while. They're also half convinced I may have actually broke my toe but they're not a hundred percent sure yet. But I am so beyond frustrated with falling and rolling my ankles repeatedly to a point where people think I do it on purpose. I wear braces and compression a lot for my POTs as well so it helps. But I'm tired of falling. Or not being able to feel my feet or hands or not having balance. Or just in general not be able to walk as fast or as effective as other people. Inside my head I'm not disabled. And outside my head I am. It's so hard to advocate for myself in that way without feeling like I'm asking for attention. But it's getting to a point where I am afraid to walk around alone anymore. Just needed to rant. This is one of the worse falls I've had. Thanks for listening.
