Anyone know how long it takes caseworkers to review something?

Hey everyone, so I’ve had a bit of a stressful couple of weeks. I had a phone appointment a few weeks back and my caseworker asked me for bank statements. I remember her saying if I got money just to write beside it as a gift as we can get up to 10,000 a year in gifts. I sent them in and she said because of the amount of money coming in (around maybe $250 a month) she needed me to send a letter from the person stating that what they gave me was a gift. She also wanted to see a few months of my PayPal statements since it was being sent on there. It took a little bit but I got the letters from the two friends who helped me but I got them and the PayPal statements and sent it in last week. I knew I wouldn’t get my cheque on time but it’s almost been a week now and I still don’t see any payment. This whole thing has caused me massive anxiety and I haven’t reached out because of it but I’m thinking I might have to. I know caseworkers are swamped and it can take a little bit but I really do need that money and to get off hold so I can get my medications. Just wondering what to think.
