First time Brazilian sugaring - recovery time?

I want to get a Brazilian sugar wax, but due to time constraints it would be about 72 hours before I leave on vacation for mexico. Obviously I will be wearing a bathing suit a lot while I’m there, so my nightmare scenario would be being all red and covered in bumps. The place im looking at getting it done has really good reviews, but I want a reality check - is this a bad idea?
