401k with match - how much to contribute?

Hi everyone, I'm fairly new to The Money Guy podcast and have just started following the FOO. I recently became eligible for my employer's 401k plan (yay!) but the way they do the match is a bit weird. The company matches 100% of the first 3% that I contribute, then 50% of the next 2%. So, if I contribute 5% I will get a 4% match. Do I contribute 3% until I pay off my high interest debt? Or do I do the 5% from the start?
