could primus be considered post punk?

Primus doesnt have the gothy sound that a lot of post punk does, but it is bass heavy with guitar as a bonus, which is something I notice in post punk. Claypool has a vocal style that seems post punky, with both monotone spoken word and a certain style of singing. /hj
